Hina Matsuri

Mrs Bennett’s class learnt about Hina Matsuri – doll’s day festival. In Japan on the 3rd March families with girls display beautiful Hina-Ningyou (ornamental dolls) in their house. Health and happiness prayers are given and special food eaten for dolls day. Here are some of the pictures of the Emperor and Empress the class did labelling the facial features in Japanese.
